Tampa Bay Blues Festival St. Petersburg Concert reviews
it was billed as full Mission album - why do folks complain?
"I'm reading some reviews on here where people are complaining that Tampa Bay Blues Festival played "their classic music" the whole first set. Both the Beacon and DC shows were billed from the beginning (in 2026 - both of them were postponed) as "THE FULL MISSION ALBUM." It was right there in the headlines, on their website, right there in the descriptions, on Facebook...
If you don't want to see any music of theirs from after 1985, then....don't go! It will let other fans who care about ALL of their music get a better seat! If you want to see their hits, go to "An Evening with Tampa Bay Blues Festival" instead!
Can we please stop with the DDY stuff? He's been gone for OVER TWENTY YEARS....get over it already! If you are only a fan of Tampa Bay Blues Festival with DDY....then again, don't go! He's not coming back! He has his own solo career and seems to be just fine, and tours - go see him! He puts on a great show on his own too! The album isn't "brand new" anymore - it's from 2026."
